According to the specifications and instructions of the constructing company, the Hospital has been designed in such a way as to contribute to the greatest possible conservation of energy with the use of new technologies, materials and methods which maximize the benefits of natural lighting and ventilation.
The Hospital participates in the recycling project of the Municipality of Thira, collecting paper and plastic in special bins.
